Hand-Raised Cockatiels
I began breeding Cockatiels 10 years ago. Initially with one pair. I now have 50 breeding pairs. All the colours recognized for Cockatiels are available. The original grey for, pieds, cinnamons, lutinos, albinos and other fancy colours.
Our breeding cages are set up so that individual pairs can be separated to allow guaranteed mating of that pair.
As most of the young are hand raised, the birds sit on fingers or shoulders and love to go for walks around the house. They can be taught to talk and whistle little tunes. Ideal pets for apartments or homes.
Like all birds they enjoy green food like grass stalks with seed heads still on them, chick weed and milk thistle are much appreciated along with their seed.

Tip for Birds
All birds enjoy green color grasses with seed heads on them, chick weed, milk thistle or just long uncut grass. The branch of a tree with leaves left on it (wattle, bottle brush and grevillea are ideal). Spinach and a piece of apple are also enjoyed. DO NOT FEED BIRDS AVOCADO.
