About Mudgee
Situated 3 hours drive from Sydney in the Central Tablelands, Mudgee has established itself as one of the must see towns in the tablelands. There are approximately 40 wineries with cellar door sales, some have restaurants or café’s. Due to the hot dry summers and cold winters, Mudgee wines have a distinctive flavour well worth trying. Mudgee also provides a locally brewed beer for those who prefer a drop of the amber fluid.
Historic sites, old gold mines and the setting of Henry Lawson's poem "The loaded dog" are just some of the things to see and do in Mudgee.
I spend a lot of time working in my garden where my dogs and birds live. They always become quite tame very quickly because I spend lots of time with them.
Come for a weekend to pick up your new bird or puppy. You may stay for the weekend but you'll come back and spend a week. Either way our picturesque town of Mudgee will leave its mark.
